Special Services
Legal Administration (Sequestration)
Mostafa Shawki & Co. has an impressive track record as the judicial appointed temporary Legal Administrators of companies during times
of difficulty. Egyptian law requires the judicial courts to order sequestration of the management and distribution of a company's assets if a dispute arises which threatens the interests of the stakeholders. In these instances the court may define our service scope,
or otherwise we apply the doctrines of general commercial law. Our mission remains as long as the root to the causes for sequestration exists. Our team of specialists are highly trained in resolving disputes, the management of sequestrated assets, assuring the rights of asset holders, and successful business recovery.
Bankruptcy and Receivership
Bankruptcy can be either voluntary, if initiated by the company or an individual concerned, or obligatory, if
initiated by creditors through the legal process. In the event of voluntary bankruptcy we meet with the client to diagnose the problems the company is facing and advise on optimum timing. In
cases of obligatory bankruptcy, we are appointed by the judicial courts to administer the bankruptcy proceedings, including the distribution and disposal of assets, in conjunction with the court judicature. Our team of specialists are highly competent in helping companies and individuals facing bankruptcy and in finding solutions for
them.
Liquidations
Over the years, our firm has gained extensive experience as liquidators of companies and businesses. We have built
up a good track record in getting the best achievable results, preserving the rights of the company and its creditors, and maximising the company's net worth. Our mission is to realise, collect and distribute assets, repay debts, settle all tax matters, and to represent the company before all concerned parties.
